Death Investigation at Nashoba Valley Ski Area Ruled Not Suspicious

A 70-year-old employee was killed in a fatal industrial accident

Authorities investigated the death of a worker at Nashoba Valley Ski Area that was the result of an industrial accident.

Westford Police, the district attorney's office, and Massachusetts State Police investigated the fatal industrial accident and ruled the death was "not suspicious."

Following family notifications, the district attorney's office identified the victim as a 70-year-old male employed by the ski area.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration also responded.

The scene of the accident was in the woods near the mechanical barn at the ski mountain.
