Did Tom Brady Help Michael Phelps Win Gold in His Final Olympic Race?

The Patriots quarterback cheered on his Under Armour teammate on Saturday night

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady cheered on Under Armour teammate Michael Phelps as the swimmer prepared for his final Olympic race on Saturday night.

About an hour before Phelps hit the pool in Rio for the Men's 4x100 Medley Relay, Brady posted a photoshopped image to Facebook showing him high-fiving Phelps in an Olympic swimming pool. Instead of a bathing suit, though, Brady was wearing his football pads, eye black and an Under Armour winter hat.

"Good luck to Michael Phelps on his final race tonight! Let's make it 23!!! ‪#‎RuleYourself‬ ‪#‎IWILL‬"

Phelps is actually a huge fan of the Baltimore Ravens, a longtime rival of Brady's Patriots.

But apparently their Under Armour ties run deep. And Brady's social media rooting certainly didn't hurt, as Phelps helped the U.S. take home the gold medal.
