Diehard Patriots, Broncos Fans Board Planes to Denver

Fans buy last-minute tickets, show their pride

Diehard Patriots fans, and some Broncos fans, boarded planes to Denver Friday to support their favorite teams.

The Burton family, interviewed at Logan Airport, lives in Denver, but they are big Patriots fans.

"We are unique," Priscilla Burton said. "We moved to Denver, so we are one of the few who live in Denver with a giant Pats sticker on the back of our car."

Broncos fan Sterling Michelle shelled out big bucks for a last-minute flight to Denver when his friend got tickets to the game.

"I did not even have a ticket for today," he said, adding he wants to see quarterback Peyton Manning prove the naysayers wrong.

One Patriots fan had the team logo shaved right onto her head. Jodi Kaiser said she will "rock" her hairstyle in Denver.

Patriots fans are welcome to watch the game at Patriots Place, and the Kraft organization is offering reduced admission to the Patriots Hall of Fame.
