A Massachusetts couple is in the midst of an international custody battle over Coco -- the dog they thought they legally adopted while vacationing in Aruba.
Coco has been living with the North Attleboro pair since last fall.
The O'Connells say they found the pooch on a beach, and brought her to a veterinarian to get checked out. They later obtained the necessary passport to fly the dog back to the states.
Much to their surprise, the couple shortly after got an email stating that someone was looking for the dog they adopted.
A woman in Aruba says the dog legally belongs to her, and she wants it back.
The court will decide.
