A 7-year-old boy was attacked and killed by a dog in Corinna, Maine, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. Saturday on Moody Mills Road.
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says no one else was injured.
The dog has been impounded. Officials haven't released the boy's name or said what breed of dog was involved.
The case remains under investigation.
