    2 People Injured in Drive-By Shooting in Fall River

    Police in Fall River, Massachusetts, are investigating a drive-by shooting that left two people injured Friday morning.

    Two people were shot early Friday during a drive-by shooting in Fall River, Massachusetts.

    Officials received a call of a shooting at 2:10 a.m. on Pine and Durfree Streets, according to the Fall River Police Department.

    The victims – one man and one woman – endured non-life threatening injuries and refused medical attention.

    A description of the gunman was not immediately available. The shooting remains an ongoing investigation.

She was quickly rescued by her friend Dane Ray Cummings, who decided to break company policy and rescue Newsum with his Waste Management truck. KCRA reports.
