Driver Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree in Marlboro, Vermont

Police didn't say if the driver was the only person in the car

Vermont State Police say the driver of a car has died after the vehicle went off a road and struck a tree in Marlboro. 

Police said the silver 2002 Audi with a New Hampshire registration was traveling eastbound on Route 9 at about 10:15 p.m. Monday. The driver's name is being withheld pending notification of family. 

Police didn't say if the driver was the only person in the car. They said seat belts were worn and multiple air bags were activated.
