A police chase in Cohasset, Massachusetts ended in a collision with a tree after a driver tried to get out of a speed ticket.
Cohasset Police said that the 21-year-old driver sped up after passing a police radar post near Doane Street to avoid being issued a speeding ticket.
He lost control of his 2002 Honda Insight during a high speed turn and drove into a backyard before hitting a tree.
The Scituate, Mass. man was transported to South Shore Hospital for minor injuries.
He has been issued a criminal citation for driving to endanger.
