Driver Identified in Fatal Route 101 Crash in NH

New Hampshire state police have identified the driver in a one-car crash on Route 101 in Candia.

Police say the accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes in snowy conditions. A witness told police that the vehicle suddenly drove to the right and went airborne, landing on its roof in a wooded area.

The driver, 56-year-old Robert Lank of Raymond, New Hampshire, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said there were no signs of impairment or cellphone use.

There were no passengers.
