The driver in a crash in Casco, Maine, that killed a 4-year-old boy last year has pled guilty to related charges.
According to necn affiliate WCSH, Michael Minson, of Gray, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with all but 4 and a half suspended.
Gray crashed into another vehicle in August 2015, killing the boy and seriously injuring his mother, who suffered brain damage from the crash.
Minson was speeding because he was late for work.
The victims’ family says the apology Minson read in court wasn’t sincere and they will not forgive him.
