Dry Weather Continues But Sox Home Opener Looks Unsettled

Parts of New England saw snow on Friday but some of those same locations climbed into the 60s today.

Dry weather will continue into Sunday. Skies will be sun-filled and we'll be able to enjoy another mild day before unsettled weather returns late Sunday night.

Monday will be wet for the majority of New England. Temperatures will stay in the 40s and low 50s – expect a raw, damp feel in the air.

Northern Maine will remain cold enough for a prolonged period of moderate snow. Heavy amounts of snow are possible.

Things don't improve on Tuesday. There have been some significant trends towards a more wintry solution going into Tuesday. If rain changes to snow, we could see some minor accumulations away from the coast and north of the Massachusetts Turnpike. It's still too early to dive into details on amounts right now.

Temperatures moderate to seasonable levels by mid-week and the sunshine will return by Wednesday afternoon.

Unfortunately, another round of unsettled weather is possible next weekend. Temperatures will stick in the low to mid-50s.

Keep in mind the Red Sox Home Opener is Tuesday and the Boston Marathon is a week from Monday. Both days look unsettled!
