Select Dunkin' Donuts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island will have the option of "on-the-go" ordering through the app Monday.

According to the Boston Herald, the company is expanding the service to at least 28 locations, including nine in Boston.

The service, which launched in Portland, Maine, in November, will allow users to pay for orders on the app and avoid lines. Orders can be placed up to a day in advance.

The "Dunkin' VIP" app is currently only available for iOS phones and can only be downloaded by DD Perks members.
