East Haven Police Arrest 2 Accused of Attacking Delivery Driver

East Haven police have arrested two people accused of assaulting a Dominos delivery driver Saturday.

Jonathan Perdue, 27, of East Haven, is charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening, and second-degree criminal attempt to commit robbery. Tanya La Kierce, 36, of Wallingford, Is charged with second degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening, second degree criminal attempt to commit robbery, and interfering with police.

Police said they responded to reports of a fight on Old Foxon Road near Foxon Boulevard around 7:37 p.m. When they arrived they found that a Dominos delivery driver had been attacked by two suspects during an attempted robbery. Police said the suspects, later identified as Perdue and Kierce, had fled the scene.

A North Branford K9 unit was called in to track the suspects, who were eventually located in the area of 71 Brennan Street.

According to police, both suspects were “combative” and “threatening” toward officers.

Both suspects were arrested and held on $100,000 bonds.
