New Hampshire State Police are investigating a man's death after his vehicle crashed into a toll booth in Hampton.
On Monday around 1:30 p.m., troopers received reports that a vehicle was driving erratically on Interstate 95 northbound. A trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued to travel at a slow speed with no reaction.
The vehicle entered the Hampton Toll Plaza and and struck a concrete barrier. The operator, identified as 88-year-old Forrest Bishop of Merrimack, succumbed to his injuries at Portsmouth Hospital.
Initial investigation revealed a medical condition may have been a factor in the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Thomas Conlon at 603-223-8614.
