Mansfield, Massachusetts police officers were involved in a "dramatic pursuit" early Sunday morning.
The police department posted to its Facebook page, saying "the suspect ultimately slipped through our fingers, but we wanted to share this heart-stopping footage with you all."
The sheep escaped from the New England Rodeo on Friday.
Two Mansfield officers tried to corral the sheep, but she managed to get away. The sheep was last seen heading into the woods around Essex/Ware.
Police say the sheep is likely tired and scared. If anyone sees her, they are urged to contact the New England Rodeo at 508-858-1102.
