A family of four was able to escape a fire that ravaged their home Wednesday morning, but their dog was killed in the blaze.
The fire on Bakerstown Road in Poland, Maine was called in around 3:30 a.m., according to WCSH6.
Fire officials say the home is a total loss and are investigating the cause of the fire.
