A woman died in an early morning fire in a Boston apartment building, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded at 3:50 a.m. to 380 Talbot Ave., where they found the woman, who has not been identified, on the second floor.
She was taken to Boston Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, according to the Boston Fire Department.
The fire was confined to one apartment of the three-story brick building, which has 54 apartments.
The causes of her death and the fire are under investigation.
