    Police Continue Searching for Revere Hit-and-Run Driver

    Massachusetts State Police continue to search for a driver who struck and injured a pedestrian in Revere Monday night.

    Massachusetts State Police are looking for a driver who struck and injured a pedestrian Monday night.

    The incident happened on Route 145 in Revere around 8:30 p.m.

    The driver fled after the crash.

    The female victim, who has not been identified, was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. Massaschusetts State Police initially reported the woman was pronounced dead but later said she had been resuscitated. The victim is now in critical condition at MGH, according to officials.

    The suspect's vehicle is described as a dark-colored, possibly blue or black, sport utility vehicle. The car may have body damage, according to police.

    Anyone who sees a vehicle matching that description or who has any information about the crash is asked to call 911 or police at 781-284-0038.

    Authorities are working to get more information regarding the vehicle and its driver.

    No other information was immediately available.
