Fiery Crash in Rhode Island Injures Driver

Police are investigating a fiery crash that left the driver injured in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday near the Charlestown town line. Police say a vehicle hit a telephone pole and burst into flames. The driver was hospitalized in unknown condition. 

Police say no other vehicles were involved. 

The driver wasn't immediately identified.
