A Weston home has been gutted by a four alarm fire.
Weston’s fire chief says flames started at the back of a house at 512 Glen Road and quickly spread to all three floors of the building.
Two people in the house at the time manage to get out uninjured.
Next door neighbors said they heard popping sounds around midnight and stayed up until 2 a.m. in their house watching firefighters. By 5 a.m. the fire was put out and fire crews cleared the scene a short time later.
When daylight hit, the damage became apparent with a door ripped off its hinges laying on the driveway and debris scattered across the rooft.
“They made a good interior attack unfortunately it’s a total loss,” said Weston Fire Chief, David Soar.
Soar said he believes the fire started on the outside of the building near some constructions materials.

The house had been worked on recently.
He also said the people inside the house were fortunate to get out since the fire spread so quickly.
"The amount of fire that was in there, they were lucky," he said.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
