    Child, Elderly Man Rescued From Burning Home

    Emergency crews responded to the two-alarm fire at 103 Norfolk St. just before 1 p.m. and found the 2nd floor of the building fully-engulfed in flames.

    A child and an elderly man were among those rescued from a burning home in Quincy, Massachusetts, Tuesday, according to police.

    Emergency crews responded to the two-alarm fire at 103 Norfolk St. just before 1 p.m. and found the 2nd floor of the building fully-engulfed in flames.

    An officer entered the home through the first floor, found an 8-year-old child, and carried that child to safety.

    An elderly man in his 70s and a woman in her 50s were also inside the building. They were also safely removed from the home.

    No injuries were reported.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation.
