Fire Ravages Two Buildings in Hartford Over Weekend

Two fires in Hartford, Conn., heavily damaged two buildings and left several families and residents without homes.

No one was injured in the blazes, one of which is under investigation for possibly being intentionally set, according to fire officials.

The first fire struck a building on Brook Street. The fire displaced three families, fire officials said. The state Fire Marshal's Office reported that arson may be involved.

The second fire was reported on Zion Street and left 11 residents homeless.

The fires stretched Hartford firefighters thin, prompting officials to call mutual aid from around the area. Both fires remain under investigation.
