Firefighter Treated for Smoke Inhalation After 3-Alarm Brookline Blaze

A firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation after responding to a 3-alarm in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The fire broke out Tuesday on Strathmore Road. It spread to all three floors, but all of the building's residents got out safely, fire officials said.

The blaze started on a porch. According to authorities, firewalls helped prevent the fire from extending beyond the back of the building.

The firefighter's injury was described as minor.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
