Firefighters Extinguish 3-Alarm Fire in Franklin, Massachusetts

Fire officials extinguished a three-alarm blaze in Franklin, Massachusetts. 

Firefighters arrived to 11 Church Street to heavy fire and smoke conditions in the basement and heavy smoke and heat conditions on the first floor of the home. 

One resident of the multi-family house was home at the time of the fire, but was able to safely exit. 

One firefighters sustained a minor injury during the incident and was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Firefighters from Norfolk, Bellingham, Wrenthem, Foxborough, Medway, and Plainville responded to the scene to assist in putting down the blaze.

The cause of  the fire is currently under investigation by the Franklin Fire Department and State Fire Marshal's Office.
