Firefighters Battle 3-Alarm Peabody, Mass. Fire; Buildings Evacuated

Firefighters battled a 3-alarm blaze at an industrial building in Peabody, Massachusetts into Tuesday evening. The fire prompted evacuations from surrounding buildings and was monitored by the state's hazmat division.

Initial reports indicated that all occupants made it out of the building, according to fire officials; other surrounding buildings were evacuated.

Representatives from the state's Fire Marshal office along with Hazmat crews responded to the scene.

Aerial footage showed a massive plume of smoke coming from the building.

There was no word on what caused the fire.
