‘Foreign Object' Found in Trick-or-Treat Candy, Manchester Police Say

The person who reported the piece of candy said they went trick-or-treating on Sunday, according to police

A "foreign object" was found in a piece of candy collected from trick-or-treating in Manchester, N.H., police said.

Police say they were made aware of the object around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The person who reported the candy said they had gone trick-or-treating in the city earlier on Sunday, according to Manchester police in a statement released Sunday evening.

They have not yet released any more information about what the object was or where it may have been picked up, but advise everyone to check candy collected during trick-or-treating before consumption.

The investigation is ongoing.
