A Rockingham County grand jury has indicted a former New Hampshire state representative on drug charges in addition to accusing him of soliciting what he thought was a teenage girl for sex.
Thirty-year-old Kyle Tasker was charged in March with three drug offenses and one count of using a computer to lure a child.
Prosecutors say the former representative of Rockingham County's District 2 used social media to lure an undercover police officer posing as a 14-year-old girl for sex between January 2016 and March 2016.
The indictment states that Tasker had a variety of illegal and controlled substances in his possession.
Tasker resigned from his post in March.
A message seeking comment was left with his lawyer Wednesday.
