Framingham Man Wins 2nd $1 Million Lottery Prize in 10 Months

Both tickets were purchased at a Framingham Stop & Shop

Howard Rankin may not be the the luckiest person in the world, but he's certainly in the discussion.

The Framingham resident has won his second $1 million instant ticket prize in a 10-month span in latest edition of the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X The Cash” $10 instant game.

Rankin once again chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before tax withholdings).

Both of Rankin's lucky tickets were purchased at the Stop & Shop located at 19 Temple St. in Framingham. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.

Earlier this year, Jane Hoyt of Lynn claimed her second $1 million instant prize in a seven-month span.
