Beer, Puppies and Mini Golf Debut at City Hall Plaza

With the warm weather here, a long line of people waited to get into the newest installment of Boston Seasons on Friday.

"The Patios," a collaboration between City Hall, Berkshire Bank and Boston sculptor and filmmaker Jeff Smith, made its debut at City Hall Plaza on Friday. It overlooks Faneuil Hall.

There's beer from Wachusett Brewing's iconic airstream trailer, a pop-up ice cream shop, mini golf and puppies.

"I think this is going to bring a new energy to different parts of the city of Boston and that's what we try to do and all over the city we have a couple different open airs like this," said Mayor Marty Walsh.

The design uses reclaimed wood.

The Bruins dogs also made an appearance Friday. They are named after Bruins players for the playoff run and were rescued from Tennessee and are now at Schultz's Guest House in Dedham.

They'll be adopted out, but every Wednesday other dogs up for adoption will be at the patio to play.

Admission to the patio is free.
