Globe Cutting Ties With Paper Delivery Company

The paper says ACI Media Group, based out of California, will no longer handle any of its routes

The Boston Globe is cutting ties with a delivery company months after it failed to deliver papers to thousands of customers.

The paper says ACI Media Group, based out of California, will no longer handle any of its routes.

The Globe says missed and late deliveries continued for ACI even after the paper brought back their original delivery company, Publishers Circulation Fulfillment Inc., to help.

For several days after the switchover from PCF to ACI on Dec. 28, thousands of subscribers reported getting no paper or a delivery hours late.

The Globe and ACI decided to part ways in a mutual agreement
