Gloom Overstaying Its Welcome With Showers

Showers around Thursday morning will become a bit more numerous later in the morning and afternoon.

The heaviest rain will likely fall in northern New England. Significant rainfall totals will be possible with 2-to-3-inches expected in some parts. Such rain is possible across portions of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Southern New England will generally see under an inch of rain, but with any thunderstorms developing, up to 2 inches of rain is possible in localized areas.

The weather will be slow to improve on Friday. The day will start off gloomy with showers around, especially along the coast. This weather pattern has certainly overstayed it’s welcome. Temperatures Friday will be cool with highs in the low to mid 70s.

Our weekend looks amazing. Both days will feature mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will approach 80 degrees.

Next week looks unsettled, but warm! Temperatures will reach the upper 70s and low 80s. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day. It will finally feel like summer!
