Grand Jury Indicts Man in Fatal Stabbing

A Grand Jury has indicted a Quincy, Massachusetts, man on a murder charge in the fatal stabbing of another man at a restaurant in October

A Grand Jury has indicted a Quincy, Massachusetts, man on a murder charge in the fatal stabbing of another man at a restaurant in October.

The Suffolk County Grand Jury indicted Edgardo Clark, 29, on Wednesday. He has been held without bail since his Oct. 21 arrest.

Clark was accused of fatally stabbing Gerard Williamson after Williamson attempted to walk away from a verbal confrontation.

According to prosecutors, both were strangers and began to exchange words inside a Chinese restaurant on Bowdoin Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 16.

Williamson tried to leave the restaurant, but Clark allegedly followed him and began a physical fight. Clark allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Williamson in the neck as he attempted to walk away

Williamson died from his injuries at Boston Medical Center.

Clark was identified by witnesses and turned himself in to police.
