Delays on MBTA's Green Line C Branch After Trolley Hits Woman

A woman was hit by an MBTA Green Line trolley on the line's C branch Thursday morning, and the transit agency is warning riders to expect delays.

The MBTA says it happened on the Green Line's C branch at Summit Avenue in Brookline, Massachusetts.

A spokesperson says the woman was conscious and alert when she was taken to Brigham and Women's for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.

Shuttle buses are current replacing service between Coolidge Corner and Cleveland Circle.
