Now the town has been named by Coastal Living as one of 10 "Happiest Seaside Towns in America."

The town, with a population of just over 17,000, has a 13-mile coastline and has numerous activities along the boardwalk including arcades, shopping, water sports, and golfing. It came in at number 8 on the list of 10.

The town also plays host to the annual Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Classic every June, which draw huge crowds.
