Police in Maine say they've arrested a driver who fled the scene of a fatal crash in Woodstock.

Police say 23-year-old Ethan Rioux-Poulios is believed to have been driving a car that struck the rear end of another vehicle on Route 26 Monday afternoon, causing it to lose control and overturn. The driver of the overturned vehicle was killed.

Police say Rioux-Poulios, of West Paris, abandoned his car a short distance from the scene. The Sun Journal reports that Maine State Police arrested him Tuesday morning in West Paris.

The identity of the driver who was killed hasn't been released as authorities attempt to locate family members. It's unclear if Rioux-Poulios has a lawyer.
