Homicide Investigation in New Hampshire

The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and Nashua Police are investigating a possible homicide that occurred on Thursday night.

Around 11:17 p.m. Thursday, Nashua Police responded to a report of an injured man on the ground on the bike path near 57 Palm St. Upon arrival, police found an adult male who appeared to be seriously injured. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The man was later identified as Benjamin Marcum, 49, of 57 Palm St., Nashua. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to determine the cause and manner of his death, but the attorney general's office said it appears that he was the victim of a homicide.
