Hookah Bar's Future Uncertain After Fatal Shooting

Monday's hearing is to determine whether the 72-hour license suspension should be extended

The Board of Licenses in Providence, Rhode Island, has scheduled a hearing on the future of a city hookah bar following a fatal shooting there.

The board suspended the license of the Pasha Hookah Bar temporarily after 22-year-old Kevin Mann Jr. died and 32-year-old Aaron Smith was injured in a shooting outside the establishment just after midnight Friday.

Police say someone opened fire on Mann, Smith and another man as they sat in a parked car after leaving the hookah bar.

Monday's hearing is to determine whether the 72-hour license suspension should be extended.
