One person is dead after a crash on I-91 south in Enfield.
State police say Aaron Hess, 39, of Bloomfield, was driving in the right lane around 2:57 p.m. near exit 46 when his car veered across three lanes of traffic and struck a cement barrier on the left shoulder. Hess suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on scene.
Police are still investigating the crash. I-91 south was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
