Two men are in "good condition" but freezing after they fell into Lake Quinsigamond off of Lake Avenue in Worcester, Massachusetts Saturday afternoon.

According to witnesses, the men were apparently playing ice hockey when they fell through.

Along with the Shrewsbury and Worcester Fire Departments, local resident John Barber also helped out in the rescue. He grabbed his kayak after he heard screams.

"I grabbed a kayak and some rope and ran out there. I got out there and they were pulling me as I was trying to pull them up," said Barber.

It is unclear how the two men who fell in are doing but rescue workers say they were moving around and talking once they were pulled out of the lake.
