A student was hospitalized Thursday morning following a multi-car crash that involved a school bus on Interstate 95.
Fourteen students were on the school bus when the crash happened on the northbound lanes of I-95 in Westwood, just before Exit 14, according to state police. A box truck and car were also involved in the crash, authorities said.
All students were examined by emergency responders before they released, and one student was taken an emergency room for a minor injury out of an abundance of caution.
The rest of the students, who were from Xaverian Brothers High School, were taken to the school by another bus.
Details on what led up to the crash were not immediately clear.
