Is Tom Brady Slipping? This Boston Writer Seems to Think So

Is Tom Brady slipping? After a subpar performance against the Miami Dolphins and an uneven showing against the Pittsburgh Steelers, at least one Boston writer seems to think so.

Boston.com writer Eric Wilbur wrote Tuesday that despite Brady's game-winning drive on Sunday, his numbers have not been up to his usual high standard lately.

Wilbur points to the fact that Brady's quarterback rating has been below 90 for the Patriots' last three games. It only dipped below 90 in two other games, against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 7 and the Jets on Oct. 15. He's also thrown five interceptions in the last four games, compared to just two in the team's 10 previous contests.

Wilber said there could be several reasons for the drop-off, including injuries to players like Julian Edelman, Malcolm Mitchell and Chris Hogan, or the reports that Brady's fitness guru, Alex Guerrero, hasn't been traveling with the team to away games in recent weeks.
