The JFK/UMass station in Dorchester reopened Friday morning shortly after MBTA officials reported it was closed due to police activity.
Authorities has said shuttle buses replaced service between Andrew Station and JFK/UMass. Trains had also bypassed the station in both directions.
It's unclear at this time what the police activity involved. MBTA officials said no passengers were struck but that the incident was under investigation.
