Jeep Driver Dies After Car Veers Off Road

Car rolled down an embankment, flipped onto hood

Police are investigating an accident in Turner, Maine, where the driver of a Jeep that flipped over was killed Friday, according to WCSH-6.

The driver and sole occupant, Jeromy Tanguay, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office said the Jeep veered off Route 117, rolled down an embankment and came to rest on the hood of the vehicle.

The road was closed for three hours while emergency crews cleared the area.
