Jury to Deliberate a 2nd Day in Murder Trial

A jury in New Hampshire will resume deliberations in the trial of a Vermont man charged with killing his estranged wife on the day she filed for divorce

A jury in New Hampshire will resume deliberations in the trial of a Vermont man charged with killing his estranged wife on the day she filed for divorce.

The Sullivan County Superior Court jury of seven women and five men went home Monday after two hours of deliberations without reaching a verdict in the trial of James Robarge.

Prosecutors say the evidence shows Robarge beat 42-year-old Kelly Robarge to death on June 27, 2013, after she filed for divorce and returned to the Charlestown, New Hampshire, home they once shared.

The 45-year-old Robarge, who is charged with first- and second-degree murder, has denied killing his wife.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Susan Morrell says blood spatters throughout the home show Kelly Robarge was beaten multiple times.
