A juvenile suspect is under arrest after police said he stabbed a 29-year-old man who remains in serious but stable condition.
Police in Mansfield, Massachusetts, said they received a call just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday reporting a man suffering from knife wounds at a home on Warren Street. The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by the Mansfield Fire Department, though the suspect left the scene before officers arrived.
After a brief search, the suspect was found in a parking lot about a half mile east on Old Colony Way and was taken into custody, without incident.
The suspect’s name and mug shot are not being released due due to his young age. The victim’s identity was also not released by police.
