One juvenile turned himself into police for allegedly researching and producing explosive devices in a wooded Cheshire area.
On Sept. 26, the juvenile was arrested for an arrest warrant that stemmed from a Cheshire Police Department investigation, who were assisted by state police's bomb squad and the New Haven FBI bureau.
In January, the investigation found that the juvenile suspect and co-conspirator were actively producing explosive devices in a wooded area between Highland Avenue and Academy Road, police said.
The juvenile suspect was remanded into custody and charged with manufacturing a bomb, conspiracy to manufacture a bomb and reckless endangerment.
A warrant for the second suspect is still pending.
