Kanye West Visits Massachusetts Art Museum

The music mogul received a tour of James Turrell's artwork from the artist himself

Music mogul Kanye West was in Massachusetts on Thursday morning, where artist James Turrell gave him a tour of his artwork on display at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams.

"Kanye is an admirer of James Turrell and came to visit the exhibition, and got a tour of the whole place, and heard a little bit about the history of North Adams," a museum spokesperson told the Berkshire Eagle newspaper. "It certainly made for a very lively morning..."

The museum tweeted out an image of West and Turrell, quoting West saying, "You finally got me here, bro" to the artist. Rapper and producer Tyler, the Creator also joined West on the tour.

Turrell's "Into the Light" exhibition opened last year and will be on display at the museum for the next 25 years.
