Kevin Durant Announces He's Signing With Golden State Warriors Over Celtics

NBA free agent Kevin Durant announced Monday that he's signing with the Golden State Warriors over the Boston Celtics.

The announcement was made just before noon on The Player's Tribune.

Sources tell ESPN that Durant is signing a two-year deal with the Warriors for $54.3 million.

Durant, who previously played for Oklahoma City, also met with the Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat.

The 2014 MVP and four-time scoring champion led the Thunder to the NBA Finals in 2012 and to the Western Conference Finals in four of the past six years. He averaged 28.2 points, a career-high 8.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists last season.

More to come.
