Kitten Stolen From MSPCA-Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen, Massachusetts

A kitten was stolen Thursday afternoon from the MSPCA-Nevins Farm adoption center in Methuen, Massachusetts.

Caramel is a two-and-a-half-month-old domestic, short-haired torbie (brown with some orange markings).

"At this point our number one priority is getting Caramel back in our care,” said Meaghan O’Leary of the MSPCA-Nevins Farm.

The suspect is a woman described by staffers as caucasian, approximately 5'6" tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Surveillance footage shows Caramel's head peeking out of the woman's hand bag.

The woman was driving a light-colored Ford F150 extended cab pick-up truck.

Security cameras on the property failed to capture the license plate number.

The Methuen police department is investigating the incident that happened around 1:12 p.m. Thursday.

The MSPCA-Nevins Farm is hoping the release of these images will help identify the woman so that Caramel may be safely returned.
