Police said a 19-year-old was stabbed in the face by a 17-year-old following a fight in a car in Braintree, Massachusetts on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Franklin and Lakeview Avenue.
The victim, who is from East Weymouth, is expected to be OK. He was transported to South Shore Hospital.
The alleged assailant, who is from Dorchester, was taken into custody. Police observed him running in the direction of the MBTA Train Station.
He is being preliminarily charged with mayham and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.eThe incident remains under investigation.
